It seems everytime I walk by a Bobbi Brown counter, I get seduced by the pretty packaging and beautiful wearable colors. Slowly but surely my entire makeup stash is bearing the name of Bobbi Brown. I live for her gel eyeliners, which do.not.budge and cream blush, which provides the perfect flush that reads as if you just came in from a jaunt outside. The queen of wearable color has released several sultry, smoldering palettes for her Holiday 2010 collection that has popped up in retailers across the nation.

Emperor of Elegance

While the genius designer is no longer at the helm of his namesake fashion house, all that we've come to expect (and more!) from brand Valentino, which is now under the new direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, was evident at the Spring 2011 show. Valentino himself gave high praise to the collection that was full of chic and lady-like looks that would transition well from day to night. Color and sheer fabrics could easily heat up any summer night all by themselves. Ruffles and other sumptuous details elevated each piece to another level. All in all, a perfect collection.

Let's get lost in the world of Valentino, shall we?

Tangled Up In Blue

For Giorgio Armani's Milan Fashion Week show, the designer did what he does best: infusing luxury and elegance with subtle sexiness. Mr. Armani drew inspiration from traditional indigo robes of the nomadic Tuareg people of Saharan North Africa, therefore the dominating shade of this collection is blue. Tailored trousers were meticulously cut. Gowns embellished with no details spared. Satin jackets that will remain in any woman's favor for season after season. Turbans ready for a Sahara Desert excursion accompanied many of the looks down the runway. Perfect skin allowed kohl rimmed eyes to stand out. It's clear to see that Mr. Armani's attention to detail is unmatched.

Elaborate beading makes me swoon.

Simplicity at its best.

Let's all admire the one shoulder strap as well as the dark nail polish.
