Also, who saw Mad Men? If you're not watching it, I'd say you're in the minority and should probably get on that boat. Also, it's definitely some of the best tv out there. Highlights from last night include:

1. Betty Draper's hair pouf gets higher as she continues to reign as "worst mother in the world."

2. Don throws the prude Jantzens out of his office because he fails to throw Betty out of his house.

3. Peggy gets sassy and sassier and we LIKE it!

4. Joan's red and blue dresses absolutely steal the show.

ABC Kitchen: An Absolute Must!

 On Monday, I went to visit one of my friends at work.  She's a manager at ABC Carpet Home, the most magical store in NYC. We worked up a fierce appetite browsing the baby section for organic goodies and then headed downstairs to ABC Kitchen, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's latest creation. We feasted on many delightful dishes including: a roasted carrot & avocado salad, a whole wheat tomato & buffalo mozzarella pizza and a grilled portabello mushroom sandwich served with house cut fries. Yum, yum and YUM! Obviously we had dessert: peach ice cream and market strawberries with mini meringues. The food's organic and sustainable while the atmosphere's airy and inviting. As far as I'm concerned, it's an A+.

Open kitchen & a display of fresh vegetables and herbs

The pizza with black trumpet mushrooms & a farm egg...on my list for next time.

The fresh juice bar just outside the restaurant will add a lil' stride to your step.

How about a 24 Karat?: carrot, apple, beet, aloe, ginger and blue-green algae.

Thought I'd multitask and include my most recent belly shot...post lunch...

LV Speedy: Revamped for the Lady

Personally, I'm not a HUGE fan of LV bags. I think they always look classy on other people, but wouldn't spend the money to buy one for myself. Anything I have has been inherited from my uber stylish mother-in-law (thank you!!).  However, the LV Monogram Fleur de Jais really caught my eye.  The gray silkscreened façade & black sequins go right along with their ladylike campaign for fall.  For only $2,250, are you going to join the waiting list for this one?

Roped Me In...

As soon as I spotted this photo of Mimi Jung on Citizen Couture, I was enthralled.  I couldn't stop staring at her necklace, which turned cleverly into a belt.  I jetted over to Mimi's site, Brook & Lyn Boutique for some much needed info and found her entire line to be mesmerizing.  She combines Brazilian agate with microfiber rope and embossed leather to create one of a kind pieces I'd love to get my hands on. Always Choose Paris: Ta Ta Hillzzzzzz

The whole Hills crew sans crazies Heidi -n- Spencer. Did you watch this season? See the finale? What about that nutzo ending? Who do you love, who do you hate? Who do you love to hate? 

Personally, Whit's my fave. She's classy, smart and seems pretty down to earth. Dress by Matthew Williamson and snakeskin cage booties by Jimmy Choo.

Maybe I'm losing my touch, but I can not seem to find out what LC is wearing. If anyone knows who made her dress & shoes, feel free to leave it in the comments!

*Update: my lovely reader, little c, has informed me that Lauren's dress is by Mandalay and the shoes are Aldo, on sale for around $60.  Thanks! Go snatch those babies up!!
