NEAT

tumblr_lfktzjxJb91qbycdbo1_500
Something I wish I was, but know I could never, ever be is neat.  Not in the 50's "neat" kind of way, because that I am, but I am an organized mess, aka not neat.  I always know where things are, but can't seem to be neat.  I found this tumblr site called, "Things Organized Neatly" and swear I developed OCD just browsing these photos.  I sometimes dream I was a neat person, but now I can just live vicariously through this blog's pictures.  Am I inspiring you to clean up, organize or just give up altogether?  Or are you already a neat freak?  Chime in and have a very neat weekend!

My Boudoir: LOVE Prints

DSC_0180
Welcome to my bedroom!  You didn't think you'd ever get a chance to visit, did you?  Well, now that you're here, please silence your cell phones, if you wake my baby, we can no longer be friends.  I recently purchased these two prints by the lovely Jen Ramos of Made By Girl.  I've been eyeing her LOVE prints for years, but could never make up my mind about the color.  My bedroom is very neutral, white being the brightest shade.  I chose the lavender/tangerine combo because I adore the way they compliment one another & pack a punch against my otherwise boring, beige wall.

LOVE is in the air and I intend to keep it that way...

Do you love LOVE?
I know I do.

Wall color: Bleeker beige by Benjamin Moore
Bedroom set: custom wood with black finish

Into The Gloss: Jen Brill

Jen-6
As bloggers, we spend tons of time on websites. I think we can all relate to that high of finding a new favorite site to add to the morning lineup.  When I came across the website, "Into The Gloss" a few days ago, I knew I'd struck blogger gold. Editor, Emily Weiss, {Fashion Assistant at Vogue} takes a sneak peek into the beauty closets of the talented, the fabulous & the fashionable. She not only photographs their stash, but also provides incredible write ups about their routines. I particularly LOVED Jen Brill's feature, partly because I felt a close connection to her love of all things Chanel, her Christine Chin facials & her secret trick to easy, breezy wavy hair. See below & click here to read all about it.

"My hair’s pretty straight so sometimes at night if I have time, I’ll put it up into two buns when it’s still wet and use Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, spritz it, let it dry and take it down, and that’s my hairdo. I call them my ‘Party Buns’. I’ve had friends come over before we go out and they’re like, ‘You look like Björk, you’re not going out like that.’ And I’m like, ‘No, these are my Party Buns!’"

Got iPad?

Just spotted this in Luxirare's shop and realized why I need to get an iPad, stat.
Her how-to blog post and video are mind blowing and the ultra sleek, minimalist design is throwing me into an iPad bag induced coma. It functions dually as a fabulous handbag with a storage area for the device. The clear screen enables you to use the iPad without taking it out of its compartment.
100% Calf hide + leather, $1,200.
Go big or go home...woot, woot!

For Bloggers By Bloggers

This month has been pretty HUGE for fashion bloggers.
First, there was the fabulous collaboration with COACH.
If ya don't know, now ya know...
Next, Danny Roberts {Igor + Andre} is collaborating
with Forever 21 in what appears to be a GENIUS move.
His blogger tees + tanks are now available for the whole world to wear!

Finally, instead of merely stalking them online, we can support our favorite bloggers, fashionably.  Buy your blogger portrait gear here!
Louise of Pandora

Are you going to support our fashion bloggers and sport a F21 tee this summer?
I certainly am, but can't decide which one would look best over my gigantic baby bump!

Read more about the collab here & here.

Gems of Knowledge

My b.f.f.l.a.e. {best friend for life and evaaah} has jumped on the blogging parade & is making her BIG debut!  Her little spot on the internet is called, "So Whaddya Do?" and it's a fantastic resource for job hunters, career changers and college students.  Lissy reveals the ins and outs of various careers by interviewing those in the know, taking the guesswork out of what's required to get your foot in the door.

For all you fashionistas, her second interview is with none other than the Rachel Antonoff, who will be showing her new collection later this week!
Lissy's birthday was yesterday, send some birthday love & check out her blog!
Tell her I sent ya!

Blog-spiration: English Muse & Ms. Muse

Two of my favorite blogs for dreamy photos & beautiful inspiration are
English Muse & Ms. Muse. I decided it was time to pay them a tribute.
There is something so magical about this apartment.
Marilyn Monroe bought champagne in 1962.
