Summer Movies {Taking Woodstock}

I recently saw the film, Away We Go, and 100% loved it. I laughed, cried {repeatedly} and found it to be absolutely charming. As an added bonus, it featured the BEST previews...I want to see each one.

Dog Day Afternoon(s)

Meet Parker, my 3.5 year old Pommy/Spaniel mix. My husband & I adopted him over two years ago & he has set our hearts aflutter ever since.

These were the highlights of his holiday weekend:
1. Meeting the SECOND set of dachshunds in our community....yes, there are four of these little guys running around!
2. Devouring the steak remnants from the bone we "doggie bagged" from a dinner with friends.
3. Watching, "Priceless" starring Audrey Tatou...he has a thing for French films.
4. Doing the crossword in Monday's NY Times...it takes him a few hours to finish it, but it's well worth it.
5. And tanning, of course, in the sun, for hours on end.

I am a major movie fan. I can't think of anything better than spending an evening on the couch or in a theater watching an intricate plot, or a relationship unfold. Like a good book, a great film sticks with you & haunts you a little, reminding you that there is a pretty fine line between reality & cinema. The Flight of My Life

Last night I saw Flight of the Conchords live at Radio City. While this has NOTHING to do with beauty or makeup, I enjoyed myself so much {I nearly peed in my pants}, I felt that I just HAD to make today a tribute to them. They just GET me! I am posting a video of them doing one of their creations called, "Jenny" which they performed last night. It's a little long, but so worth it & you will automatically become a fan if you aren't already!
