Childish Games : )

I recently started working with kids.
This amazing opportunity gives me a great
reason to revisit some old faves:

1. Clue
2. Candyland
3. Chutes & Ladders
4. Hungry Hungry Hippos
{haven't #4 played yet, but want to}

What games did you love as a kid?
Which ones would you like to bring back to game night now?

Mom: Thanks for letting me win & playing with me even
after I {sometimes} threw the board on the floor.

Kids I work with now: I promise to let you win
& never ever throw the board on the floor.

Thinking Pink: Donate to a Great Cause + Pink Runway Fashions

This October I will be participating in the AVON Breast Cancer Walk.
It's a two day, 39 mile event and the cause is very close to my heart.

Each walker must pledge to raise $1,800 at minimum to participate.
I've raised $900 so far and I know I can reach my goal with just a little help.
If you'd like to donate and help raise money for the cure,
please click on this pink link.
If you're unable to donate, please spread the word by linking to my
post on your blogs, twitter or facebook.

We can all help fight to end this disease.
I truly appreciate your continued support and friendship.

I walk for my family. I walk for my friends. I walk for you.
Much love,
L.L.

And now, the most fabulous PINK runway looks

Wooden Beams and Sweet, Sweet Dreams

Ode to magnificent rooms:
Your bright sunlight cascades and pervades.
Your wooden beams elevate and accentuate.
You're a cozy cottage. You're a lovely loft.
I want to inhabit you.

Spotlight on...Hair & Makeup at the Tents #NYFW

Alexander Wang:
Inspired by Brooke Shields, circa 1982.
Eyebrows drawn upward, extensions woven into BIG braid.
If this doesn't spark a side braid revolution, I don't know what will....

DVF:
ethereal makeup, virgin, crimped locks {sans products!}

Derek Lam, inspired by:
Coney Island, Helmut Newton
{Coney Island inspiring NYFW? Love it!}

Narcisco Rodriguez:
statement hair...

Carolina Herrera:
beaded hairpieces woven into low updos.

Marc Jacobs:
NARS makeup, goth-ballerina-cabaret girl glamour.

What appears to be a major discussion backstage...
"But what does the MODEL think???"
