i LOVE movies..."A Single Man"



Last weekend I went to see Tom Ford's film, "A Single Man" starring Colin Firth, Matthew Goode & Julianne Moore.  The film was a visual masterpiece with Colin Firth, in his fabulous dark-rimmed glasses & impeccable Tom Ford suits, at the epicenter of it all.  Julianne Moore was radiant and I thoroughly enjoyed watching her apply 60s style eye makeup and traipse around her house in her vintage black & white gown. The other costars were equally as gorgeous as evidenced by Matthew Goode {above}, Nicholas Holt and Jon Kortajarena {below}.  For me, Ford's visions and executions rivaled those seen in Sofia Coppola's films. The visuals borderlined overwhelming: Ford's interior set designs and the masterfully created wardrobe stole the show. I was giddy with excitement by the end, yearning for more. Colin Firth was nominated for an Oscar today. Go do your part as a lover of the arts and see this film. You will not be disappointed.
