I vote for the #2, jungle! We did that theme for both of my baby boys. I framed prints from 'The Jungle Book' for the walls to make it pop.

Ooh, I vote for #2 as well! More fun and I think they'll go really well with the furniture you described.

#1 is definitely more my taste - very chic! That said, #2 is much better for a child. Exposure to different colours, animals & shapes help the development of a child's mind (and are also pretty fun!).

I like elephants, so I'm partial to #2. Can't wait to see pictures of this baby!! :) Hope you're doing well, lady!!

#2! The jungle print is so much more exciting than #1.

#1 for sure! but I'm just not a big fan of things that are too "babyish" so I think that #1 is much more chic :)
but a baby might disagree with me

I love how classy #1 is.The second one is more fun for the baby, but I like #1 better.

I say #2...It's for baby, not us, when we really sit and think about it. I love the whimsical jungle theme! Good luck!

#2 totally! and if you do # 2 you maight could (if you wanted too) have a jungle mural done up in the room that would be fabulous. I say this strictly from an artists viewpoint but I think murals in baby rooms rock.

yay! i had the best time doing the baby's nursery. I adore #1. I think that simple bedding is KEY for helping babies sleep longer when it's time to train them...I love #2 but my fave part is the bumper and let's face it, you're not going to be using that for a while...maybe in the beginning but that comes off once he learns to turn over and you probably won't put it back until he's a little older. with bedding as a clean, simple slate you can make the rest of the room fun and more "nursery like" - get a fun rug and hang some fun prints or get a cool mural - go for a funky pillow or cool lamp:) xo

I'm going through the same thing right now! I want my nursery to not be as babyish so I'd choose #1

#2 You'll have fun picking up little jungle doodads to decorate with...

My 2 year old's room is ladybugs and my 1 year old is bumble bees. It's been fun getting a little collection together.

Both are adorable but I say #1. Good luck :)

I loveee #1! It is so elegant and your baby will definitely be so chic and sophisticated. I feel like it can easily go with the other furniture, you know? It is very simple and versatile! Whichever you choose, it will be perfect!

I think I would have to say #1 because you can mix and match it with different things if you want to.

Keep in mind that when you do animal theme, EVERYTHING will end up with animals on it. (seen it a ton) so I would do theme #1 and add it animals around there. I love animal on the walls but it can be a bit much with animal sheets, animal walls, animals on the ground, animals on the diapers, etc... they're both cute though!

Both choices are adorable but I love the classic, fresh look of nursery #1. That way you can rotate in different toys and other decorations without being stuck in one overall theme (like jungle animals). #1 would allow for more creativity down the line. Happy shopping! :)

You know, as much as I love jungles (and decorated Devon's room with elephants), I think I'm leaning toward #1 for this one. I feel like there might be some more modern touches you can interject with this pattern, so that the room can evolve easily, as opposed to having to start fresh when he turns 3 and decides jungle animals are passe:)

#1- its classy and chic and you can work with the crib. With the other one, you have to work around it. #1 can be worked with! Make it easy on your self!!
