Feeling Fall

What does your Fall feel like?

The smell of crackling wood burning in a fire...
The feel of soft tights warming cold legs...
The sound of acorns falling gently on the ground...
The sight of your breath filling the air as you walk at night...
The sound of crispy leaves crunching underneath your feet...
The feel of hot cocoa warming every inch of your body...
The sight of a red bird camoflauged by bright red leaves in a tree...
The feel of a soft cashmere cardigan embracing your skin...
The smell of pumpkin, nutmeg & cinnamon piercing every room of the house...
The sight of orange...everywhere...

My fall is unfortunately warm and humid, but I've tried to decorate as much as possible to remind myself of what season it is :)

I just adore fall and everything about it. Pumpkin picking, early evening walks, apple cider. I took pictures galore yesterday evening outside, I want to capture it now before we get snowed in!

I love that Americans call this season Fall... it is so evocative of moments just as you describe, and so very beautifully too.
In England, despite the occasional visual beauty of the changing leaves, Autumn is often the season that heralds SAD, or Seasonal Affective Disorder.
Much much prefer your take on it :)
